Industrial Vacuum Lamination for Display Production

The 9TU-M068U is designed as the vacuum lamination station in an industrial optical bonding process. It combines a 500 x 700 mm work platform with controlled pressure, temperature and vacuum functions to support repeatable lamination of display components and cover materials.

The platform size is suitable for medium and large display assemblies that fit within the available working area together with the required fixture clearance. Typical production targets include industrial LCD modules, touch panels, vehicle center displays, medical equipment displays, electronic control panels and all-in-one display assemblies.

The workpiece, bonding materials and fixture must all fit inside the effective platform area. Customers should provide the maximum component dimensions and thickness before ordering so that tooling compatibility can be reviewed.

SCA/OCA Process Compatibility

The machine is intended for SCA and OCA lamination workflows involving display modules, touch panels, cover glass and related electronic components. It can be evaluated for soft-to-hard and hard-to-hard bonding structures according to material combination, adhesive specification, tooling design and required process conditions.

Actual lamination results depend on the component structure, adhesive system, surface condition, fixture design and selected process parameters. Sample testing is recommended before production settings are finalized.

Safety Light Curtain Protection

Safety light curtains are installed on both sides of the working area. If the protected zone is entered during operation, the machine automatically interrupts its motion. Operation can continue after the area is clear according to the configured control sequence.

This non-contact protection works together with the emergency stop and other machine safeguards to support safer loading, unloading and process operation in a factory environment.

Transparent Dust Cover

The transparent cover surrounds the active bonding area and helps reduce the entry of airborne particles during loading and lamination. Its clear structure also allows operators to observe the work area without removing the cover.

The cover is a local contamination-control feature. It does not represent a certified cleanroom classification. Final cleanliness depends on the installation environment, material handling method, operator procedure and upstream cleaning process.

Touchscreen Process Control

The integrated touchscreen provides centralized operation and process status display. The control panel also includes pressure, back-pressure, vacuum and temperature-related display or control areas, allowing operators to manage the main lamination variables from one workstation.

A clear interface helps standardize operation across production shifts and supports easier parameter review during product changeovers.

Pressure and Temperature Management

The machine performs vacuum lamination with pressure and temperature control. Maximum pressing force is approximately 6,000 N, and the available laminating height is approximately 50 mm.

Process settings must be established according to the adhesive, material stack, component thickness and fixture structure. Parameter windows should be confirmed through sample trials before volume production.

Factory-Oriented Machine Structure

The 9TU-M068U uses a floor-standing cabinet structure with an operating table height of 770 mm. The overall machine size is 1001 x 1500 x 1380 mm, and the rated equipment power shown in the current product material is approximately 4.8 kW.

The enclosed lower cabinet organizes the machine systems while perforated access panels support ventilation and routine inspection. Adjustable feet help position the machine on the production floor.

Position in a Complete Production Process

The 9TU-M068U is the vacuum lamination station rather than an integrated all-process unit.

Stage 1: Film Application
Apply compatible OCA or SCA material to the cover glass, touch panel or display component using the appropriate film application equipment.

Stage 2: Vacuum Lamination
Load the prepared assembly and fixture onto the 500 x 700 mm platform. The 9TU-M068U then performs the controlled vacuum, pressure and temperature lamination process.

Stage 3: Bubble Removal
Transfer the bonded assembly to a separate pressure-and-temperature debubbling unit when the product process requires residual bubble removal.

A matched film application, vacuum lamination and debubbling equipment package can be discussed according to component size, adhesive system and production volume.

FAQ

Q1. What is the effective working area?
The laminating platform is 500 x 700 mm. The component and its fixture must fit within this area with sufficient loading and process clearance.
Q2. Which customers is this machine designed for?
It is intended for industrial display factories, LCD and LCM manufacturers, touch panel processors, vehicle display suppliers, medical display manufacturers, HMI manufacturers and OEM/ODM optical bonding projects.
Q3. Which materials can be laminated?
The machine is intended for compatible SCA and OCA processes involving display modules, touch panels, cover glass and related electronic components. Final compatibility depends on the full material stack and process requirements.
Q4. Does the machine support G+G bonding?
It can be evaluated for glass-to-glass and other hard-to-hard structures when the assembly fits the platform and the required fixture and process settings are confirmed.
Q5. Can it handle soft-to-hard structures?
Yes, compatible soft-to-hard structures can be evaluated according to film behavior, adhesive type, component geometry and fixture design. Sample testing is recommended.
Q6. What does the safety light curtain do?
The light curtain monitors access to the operating zone. If the protected field is entered while the machine is running, machine motion is automatically interrupted. The control sequence can continue after the area is clear according to the machine settings.
Q7. What is the purpose of the dust cover?
The transparent cover helps reduce airborne particles entering the bonding area and allows clear observation of the work zone. It is a local protection feature and does not replace a controlled clean environment where one is required.
Q8. What is the maximum pressing force?
The product material specifies an approximate maximum pressing force of 6,000 N. The applied process force should be set according to the component, adhesive and fixture.
Q9. What is the available laminating height?
The specified laminating height is approximately 50 mm. Fixture and assembly thickness should be reviewed together before order confirmation.
Q10. Can the configuration be customized?
Yes. Configuration can be reviewed according to component size, thickness, material stack, pressure and temperature requirements, tooling, batch plan, power supply and factory layout.
Q11. What information is needed for a quotation?
