A small bezel on the top and bottom of the display makes both 3a and 3a XL feel a tiny bit closer to the Pixel 3 than the larger Pixel 3 XL. Although the design might seem slightly dated when compared to the almost bezel-less options found elsewhere, in no way does it detract from the look and feel of the 3a and 3a XL.

Although the Realme X looks similar to the Realme 3 Pro, it comes with a few important upgrades. It has a larger and higher-resolution camera sensor on the rear, an AMOLED screen, and an in-display fingerprint reader. The phone features a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and a completely bezel-less front design. The screen is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 panel. Moreover, the Realme X is also the first phone from the company to feature a 6th-generation under-display optical fingerprint reader. The phone’s back has the same S-shaped concurrent lines pattern that debuted with the Realme 3 Pro.

Since Vivo announced the NEX last year, concerns about the long-term durability of motorized pop-up cameras have raged. It’s been a year since the Vivo NEX, and I haven’t heard of any major issues with its front camera. The OnePlus 7 Pro is an entirely different phone, to be fair, so I can’t fully judge its durability using the Vivo NEX as an example. That being said, OnePlus claims the OnePlus 7 Pro can withstand 300,000 cycles of popping the camera in and out of the device or over 400 times a day for 2 years. I can’t fully test that claim in the time I’ve had the device nor would I want to subject my review unit to potential breakage anyway, but I did write a short Tasker script to open and close the OnePlus 7 Pro’s front camera and take a selfie 10,000 times. That’s more than 3 months of use of the front camera, assuming you unlock your phone with face unlock and take selfies 100 times a day.

Using DASH, the Cornell engineers created a biomaterial that can autonomously emerge from its nanoscale building blocks and arrange itself — first into polymers and eventually mesoscale shapes. Starting from a 55-nucleotide base seed sequence, the DNA molecules were multiplied hundreds of thousands times, creating chains of repeating DNA a few millimeters in size. The reaction solution was then injected in a microfluidic device that provided a liquid flow of energy and the necessary building blocks for biosynthesis.

There is no unevenness for LED hot spots (or "edge bleed") in this review unit (while LCD will also suffer from some light leakage at the edge when in Windows 10 and daily use, there is nothing discernable). The display bezels are the same as the Surface Pro (2017) – not to0 thick, but not radically thin either.
